Abstract:In the context of double reducation of elementray education in China, how to enhance science education is an important issues for scientists, sci ence educators and science teachers, even students. Mining the text of the Science Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition) (SCSCE) can reveal the trend of science education reform to some extent. This study used NLPIR software to conduct text mining, which attempted to obtain the character istics, directions, and functions of SCSCE. The result showed that high weighted target verbs in texts reflected the advanced requirements of scientific learning in different stages, meanwhile the high weighted nouns revolve around the cognitive requirements of core concepts, and extracting new words demonstrate diverse per spectives of reinforcement learning. Further analysis revealed that (1) high fre quency words explicitly expressed subject core competencies, and subject core con cept keywords help to unify scientific concepts. (2) The behaviors of the practice and exploration under the scientific thinking have been clarified in the content. (3) Multidimensional high-frequency words highlight the orientation of scientific education, emphasizing practice and technology, and paying attention to society, health, and aesthetics. Finally, it can be concluded that the subject core concepts guide the scientific learning, and correspond with the education aims of the simul taneous development of the five educations in the SCSCE.
