Abstract:Combining qualitative analysis and quantitative research, this paper studied the similarities and differences in narrative methods, realist creation tend encies, and main theme characteristics of the two anti-epidemic films of different periods, profoundly affecting and Chinese doctors, through quantitative cinematic analysis of the length of shots, the number of shots, transition methods and shot frequency. The purpose was to propose a path for reference for the main theme presentation paradigm of public catastrophic films. The anti-epidemic theme film had a fast narrative rhythm and diversified narrative structure. It showed a pro fessional, scientific and realistic creative tendency in the expression of the epi demic situation, characters and medical professionalism. The main purpose of the anti-epidemic theme film was to convey the mainstream ideology and build the national image.
