    摘要:

    近年来,STEM教育逐渐成为未来教育发展的大趋势,作为其核心议题的学前STEM教育也日益受到关注,如何在幼儿STEM教育活动中开展跨学科学习成为学前教育工作者面临的新挑战。美国自然科学基金支持的连接式学习(Connect 4 Learning,C4L)倡导数学、科学、读写能力和社会情感共同发展的4个学习领域,为STEM教育在早期教育教学中的有效落地提供了新思路与方法。本研究旨在通过对C4L模式的产生背景、内涵特征与应用价值等进行梳理与分析,尝试探索C4L模式如何与我国学前教育的发展相结合,破解STEM/STEAM教育在学前教育开展的困境,弥补幼小衔接中如幼儿教育小学化、儿童“失语”等关键问题,以期为我国学前STEM教育的跨学科学习研究与实践提供借鉴。

    Abstract:

    In recent years, STEM education has gradually become a major trend in future education. Preschool STEM education, which is its core topic, has also received increasing attention. So how to implement interdisciplinary learning in STEM education activities for preschool children has become a new challenge for educators. The NSF-funded Connect4Learning (C4L) advocates four areas of learning: Mathematics, Science, Language and Literacy, and Social-Emotional Development, providing new ideas and approaches for landing STEM education in preschool education instruction. The purpose of this study was to comb and analyze the background, connotation characteristics and application value of C4L model, tried to explore how C4L model could be combined with the development of preschool education in China, crack the dilemma of STEM/STEAM education in preschool education, make up for the key problems such as making the nursery education primary school-oriented, children's aphasia in transition from kindergarten to first-grade school, with a view to providing effective reference and in-depth thinking on the interdisciplinary study and practice of preschool STEM education in China.
