Abstract:The development of Sci-Fi in China has provided premise and background for the advocacy and practice of “Sci-Fi Education”, which uses Sci-Fi stories as media, guides students to appreciate and analyze the stories, fuses frameworks of different curriculums to promote understanding and thinking of science knowledge and social phenomenon in the Sci-Fi imagination. It has the function to bridge between science and humanity, history and future. In the dimension of curriculum, it is a special integrated curriculum and can be combined with science, literacy and history/society. Its educational purpose is development of four core competences: curiosity, imagination, responsibility and humanistic spirit. Such application is in accordance with the curriculum reform of elementary education, and can exploit the advantages of Sci-Fi to the full.
