Abstract:The issue of “biodiversity” has drawn increasing attention from the international community, and one of the key points to achieving public participation in conservation is how to mainstream biodiversity. In this day of multi-media explosion, the science communication activities of biodiversity enthusiasts as self-mediamaker on short video platforms may be an important way to achieve biodiversity mainstreaming. This article used “Infinite Little Liang's Science Popularization Daily” as a case study to provide ideas for the creation, dissemination, and research of current scientific content related to “biodiversity”. This paper discussed and analyzed its communication strategies from four aspects: communication subject, communication concept, communication content, and communication method, and discussed how to achieve effective public communication on “biodiversity” and other global common challenges.
