近40年中美电影中科学家形象塑造:基于人格特质理论的比较

The Portrayal of Scientists in Chinese and American Films in the Past Four Decades:A Comparison Based on Personality Trait Theory

摘要:

对近40多年来中美两国电影中的科学家形象展开调研，基于人格特质理论并利用SPSS数据软件对电影中的科学家角色进行了定性与定量的分析，归纳出中美电影中科学家角色在人物设定层面多维度的呈现差异，探讨比较中美电影在科学家形象塑造的理念与方法上各自的优劣之处，并对我国电影在科学家形象塑造方面提出建议：性格特质多元化；性别比例平衡化；学科领域细分化；电影类型拓展化。期待未来的中国电影能够更加合理地运用多种元素与风格，努力塑造出更多样、更立体、更丰满的科学家形象。

Abstract:

Through a survey of the image of scientists in Chinese and American films since 1978, the paper summarizes their feature based on the theory of personality traits and SPSS data, analyzes gender, age, attributes of good and evil to explore and compare the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese and American films in the concept and method of shaping the image of scientists. In the end, the paper puts forward four suggestions for their further improvement, namely, enriching the character expression of the scientist image; increasing the number of female scientists; furthering refine the scientific field of the scientist role; expanding the types of movies containing the role of the scientist.
