Abstract:Popularization of frontier scientific knowledge and scientific and technological achievements is as important as scientific and technological innovation. Short video plays an important role and value in the popularization of frontier science for the public. In order to provide new ideas for the mass communication practice of Chinese frontier scientific and technological achievements, this study takes the creation and dissemination practice of the “Jiuzhang 2.0” short video as an example to deeply analyze the video from the three elements of vision, text and hearing. On the one hand, the research compares the differentiated design of the communication elements of different versions of the video, and on the other hand, combines the bullet screens to evaluate the differentiated experience at the audience level generated by the different communication elements. On this basis, we propose that short videos of frontier scientific and technological achievements visualization should pay attention to the presentation effect of visual elements, improve the readability of text elements in videos, and skillfully use the narrative ability of auditory elements.
