Abstract:Wang Jinguang is a representative figure among those who founded the history of science and technology courses in some universities in China. He also held an elective course in the history of science and technology while training postgraduates in the history of physics at Hangzhou University. He had made great achievements in the cultivation of talents and discipline development in the history of science and technology. This paper mainly studied and collated the four letters written by Wang Jinguang and Jiang Changying, the recommended notes written by Hu Daojing for Wang's works, as well as the lost and found book reviews and briefs, and summarized the old facts used to explore the history of science and technology, so as to make up for the academic life of this accomplished historian of science and technology.
