Abstract:In modern society, ecological civilization is the key to solving ecological problems and achieving sustainable development. The core idea of ecological civilization lies in the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, promoting economic and social development while achieving natural conservation. Allowing teenagers to fully understand the importance of ecological civilization is beneficial for them to better practice ecological protection behaviors. Therefore, integrating the core ideas of ecological civilization into youth science education has profound significance. In the context of the continuous advancement of “Digital China” in our country, scientific education games have broad prospects for application. “Puzzle Adventure: Seeking Birds” is an educational puzzle game with a theme of “loving birds, recognizing birds, identifying birds, and protecting birds”, which sets a successful example of integrating the core idea of ecological civilization into scientific education games. Based on constructivism and gamified learning as theoretical foundations, this paper conducted a strategic analysis of integrating the core idea of ecological civilization into the design of scientific education games, by analyzing the four-dimensional framework and characteristics of the “Puzzle Adventure: Seeking Birds” game, proposing methods such as creating real-life situations, setting ecological educational goals, providing scientific knowledge resources, and introducing social interaction mechanisms.
