Abstract:Science popularization films are a form of science communication that use visual media to present scientific content, with the aim of popularizing scientific knowledge, spreading scientific ideas, promoting scientific spirit, and showing scientific charm. They are an important part of science popularization work. Based on the theories of communication and film studies, this study used literature analysis, expert consultation, and analytic hierarchy process to construct a quality evaluation index system for science popularization films from the perspectives of both experts and audiences. The indicator system included three first-level dimensions: film project, film outcome, and science popularization effect, as well as eight second-level indicators and 23 third-level indicators, and gave the weights of each indicator. The index system aimed to provide a scientific, objective, and comprehensive reference for the quality evaluation of science popularization films, to help improve the production and dissemination level of science popularization films, and to promote their innovative development and social value realization.
