科学家气候传播话语分析——以英国净零战略议题为例

A Discourse Analysis of Scientists’ Climate Communication: A Case Study of the UK’s Net Zero Strategy

气候传播是科学传播的重要组成部分,科学家在其中发挥着举足轻重的作用。研究聚焦于英国净零战略议题,基于批评话语分析理论,使用AntConc语料分析工具来分析净零报道中科学家的话语策略。研究发现: (1) 在文本层面,科学家运用列举与隐喻修辞,强化气候政策的科学性与权威性; (2) 在话语实践层面,科学家依托多种引语与类比手法,彰显话语的可信度与立场的中立性; (3) 在社会实践层面,科学家通过批评陈述与责任对比,凸显气候正义与国际合作的重要性。研究进一步印证了科学家在气候传播中的关键角色与影响力,为国内科学家参与气候传播提供了借鉴。

Abstract:

Climate communication is a key part of scientific communication in which scientists playing a central role. The study examines the discourse strategies of scientists from the UK Science Media Centre reports about the UK’s Net Zero Strategy, using Critical Discourse Analysis and AntConc tool. The findings show that: (1) at the text level, technical terms and rhetoric are used to reinforce the scientific authority of climate policy; (2) in discourse practice, authoritative quotations and assessment are used to enhance credibility and guide governance; (3) in social practice, climate justice and cooperation are highlighted through criticism and comparison. The study confirms the critical role and influence of scientists in climate communication.
